Sanju Dhawan

Our Director for Pharmaceuticals R&D, Sanju believes “in leaving behind a legacy and living with a purpose of making a positive impact on human life”. She is a seasoned R&D leader with over 26 years of experience in new product development of generics, complex generics, and novel drug delivery systems. She has proven expertise in leading documentation and characterization methods. Known for her project management skills, Sanju is an inspiring, resilient, courageous, decisive, and focused leader with 12 patents to her credit.

Prior to Baxter, Sanju has worked with well-known companies including Pfizer Healthcare in India, Cadila Pharmaceuticals, Dr. Reddy’s, and Panacea Biotec Limited. She is an experienced academician and has authored 4 book chapters as well as 39 journal articles. Academically, Sanju holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences and a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutics. A self-motivated professional, Sanju is dedicated to embrace compliance, data integrity, and drive teams towards a Quality Culture.
