Plasmalyte 148 Isotonic electrolyte solution

PLASMA-LYTE portfolio consists of two types of isotonic electrolyte solution available in collapsible containers.

Plasmalyte A(500 ml and 1000 ml)

Isotonic electrolyte solution available in collapsible container (closed System) for intravenous administration. One liter has an ionic concentration of 140 mEq sodium, 5 mEqpotassium, 3 mEq magnesium with a low chloride level of 98 mEq and is physiologically balanced with 27 mEq acetate, and 23 mEq gluconate at a pH of 7.4 with an osmolarity of294 mOsmol/L (calc).

Plasmalyte 148 (500 ml)

Isotonic electrolyte solution available in collapsible container (closed System) for intravenous administration. One liter contains 50 gms of Dextrose and has an ionic concentration of 140 mEq sodium, 5 mEq potassium, 3 mEq magnesium with a low chloride level of 98mEq and is physiologically balanced with 27 mEq acetate, and 23 mEq gluconate ata pH of 5.0 withan osmolarity of547mOsmol/L (calc).
