VP, Renal Care Systems & Hardware R&D & Site Leader

Satish Chandra Je

Satish  is serving as our Vice President for Renal Care Systems & Hardware R&D, and Site Leader for Bangalore R&D, responsible for building the medical devices’ R&D organization in India for acute , renal care ( home and in-center )  dialysis devices , infusion pumps  including the intravenous (IV) solutions, systems and administrative/disposable sets.

Satish has over 24 years of experience in the medical industry developing products for developed and emerging markets . As the first employee for Baxter R&D in India he has been responsible for building the R&D organization in all aspects of people , teams, strategy, infrastructure, new legal entity along with culture of entrepreneurship for the global product portfolio.

Prior to Baxter, he was associated with GE Healthcare for 19 years , where he has served in various leadership roles for New Product development and product Life Cycle Management for various products like Magnetic Resonance ( MR) , Cath labs and Orthopedic equipment’s like C-arms . He has also been involved in acquisitions and integrations , managing IT infrastructure and driving Digital transformation and products for Service business .

Satish’s core strengths are vision driven leadership , entrepreneurial mindset , driving innovations, Customer & market focused  product development with demonstrated ability of building teams to deliver global products,

Academically, Satish holds Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electronics) and Post Graduate ( Computer Applications ) from Bangalore University, Karnataka. India.
